Hope that Rafter would devote himself more to the tennis in Australia. Just a name being honored is not enough. To commit himself more to help bring up more good tennis player would be most appreciated by the Australians here. Hoping that not just a name being remembered to win 2 Gland Slam, but would be remembered to fully commit to promote the tennis in Australia. The younger generation need Rafter as a mentor to them.

Can’t wait, have tickets for the mens’ final, have never seen live tennis before! I am taking my daughter, whom I instilled a love a tennis, spending every new year glued to seven’s summer of tennis. The centre is a real asset to Brisbane, and could not have been named after a greater player and genuinely great person as Pat Rafter, I agree with Kathryn’s comment..Bring it on!

You beauty – Rafter and the Arena! I’m aiming at taking precious family to this biggest deal since mini Milton tennis. Can’t wait. Finals courtside tennis (I hope) with my daughter (11) and parents – married 60 years … my mother (80 and with a nasty cancer) and father (87, cabinet maker, who’s body is just tired, but who enjoys a good tennis battle). Bring it on !!
