I caught Radek in the semi-finals and love players who come to the net and mix up their game rather than playing totally from the baseline. He played from the heart and I enjoyed every moment he was on court. Great passion!

stepanek deserved to win, he has skill and great finesse as well as being entertaining for the crowds. i love his attitude to tennis, its refreshing. go the worm!

radek was excited to win and he almost forgot to thank his coach as well so i dont think he didnt thank verdasco on purpose…he did seem a bit “rude” on the court but come on, wouldnt you do the same if it was you trying to win??? i know i would..

Would you all be so upset by Stafanek’s win if he was part of the beautiful crowd like Verdasco and Ivanovic? I think not. I happened to see him leaving after the game and congradulated him on his win and he thanked me and shook my hand. Well done Radek. Thanks for coming.

From where I was sitting, the game was played in fantastic spirit by both players. I’m not sure if anyone who is whinging about Radek’s speech has ever won a big tournament title, then on top of all the emotion had to make a speech in a language no native to them…. think about it… It was a great entertaining match & a well deserved winner.

It was a fantastic game to see live at the arena. I thought both players provided great enthusiasm and gamesmanship. It was entertaining. Fernando and Stefanek shook hands and hugged at the end of the match. I think Stefanek simply forgot to thank Fernando.
