Rain has interrupted play on the outer courts at the Brisbane International today.

Several qualifying matches were in progress when the rain started, leaving players and fans alike scrambling for shelter.

Earlier this morning all four completed matches went the way of the seeded players.

Third-seeded German Julian Reister defeated Australia’s Miles Armstrong to move into the final round of qualifying. He was later joined by top-seed Belgium’s Xavier Malisse who ended the hopes of another Australian, Matheson Klein, 7-5 6-3.

In other matches, Nick Lindahl overcame Joel Lindner in three sets in an all-Australian affair, while Oleksander Dolgopolov Jnr ended the hopes of experienced Australian Joe Sirianni.

Women’s top seed Kim Clijsters has just begun her match undercover at Pat Rafter Arena against unseeded Italian Tathiana Garbin.

I would like to know: WHO is playing and WHEN?

Is this some knid of Secret? Having now purchased tickets for Mon and Tues night Rafter stadium sessions, it seems to me that it is still a mystery who actually plays on those nights. Is this a deliberate policy? Is the intent to have some kind of “pot luck” as to who is playing on centre court?

Please respond-is this somewhere on the website I cannot find- or at this stage it is certainly looking as if I will find out-on the night?!?

Hi Ronti, as this tournament is a knockout event, the order of play cannot be completed until the evening before the following day's play. Tournament organisers cannot complete the order of play until match results from the current day's play are decided. As soon as the order of play and draws are available they are posted on the Draws page.
