The names don’t get any bigger – Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Roger Federer and Lleyton Hewitt – and you can see them all at Pat Rafter Arena on Thursday.
Women’s third seed Maria Sharapova will kick off the day session when she takes on 2012 champion Kaia Kanepi. That match will be followed by No.1 seed Serena Williams versus ninth seed Dominika Cibulkova.
Then Roger Federer and Nicolas Mahut will take to the court for their secound-round doubles match.
Rounding out the day schedule is sixth seed Feliciano Lopez and Australia’s Lleyton Hewitt.
In the night session Stefanie Voegele will face either women’s second seed Victoria Azarenka or Australia’s Casey Dellacqua. That match will be followed by fourth seed Kevin Anderson and Australia’s Sam Groth in what promises to be a battle of the big servers.
