Both the men’s and women’s top seeds – Roger Federer and Serena Williams – headline the Pat Rafter Arena Friday night session.
Roger Federer takes on Australian Marinko Matosevic in a men’ quarterfinal to begin the night’s proceedings and will be followed by Williams and Maria Sharapova who will meet face to face on Pat Rafter Arena.
The Pat Rafter Arena day session features second seed Kei Nishikori versus the unseeded but dangerous Marin Cilic in the first match. That will be followed by Lleyton Hewitt versus qualifier Marius Copil. The day’s proceedings will be closed by fourth seed Jelena Jankovic versus either Victoria Azarenka or Stefanie Voegele.
