Former finalist Grigor Dimitrov has hung on, two points from defeat, to deny Serb Viktor Troicki 5-7, 7-6(6), 6-2 in the second round of the Brisbane International on Thursday afternoon.
The 24-year-old world No.28 needed nearly three hours to battle past the world No.22.
He awaits the winner of tonight’s showdown between top seed Roger Federer and German qualifier Tobias Kamke.
