Mathieu silences the Djoker-killer

Frenchman Paul-Henri Mathieu did what Novak Djokovic couldn’t in the second round of the Brisbane International today, defeating Latvian Ernests Gulbis in straight sets.

Mathieu made quick work of Gulbis, knocking him out 6-3 6-4 in just over 80 minutes.

Mathieu will next play either Tomas Berdych or Kei Nishikori who will meet tonight on Pat Rafter Arena.
