Henri ends Nishikori’s spirited run

Paul-Henri Mathieu has claimed a place in the semifinals of the inaugural Brisbane International with a 6-3 6-4 win over Japan’s Kei Nishikori.

The French world No.31 will play Spain’s Fernando Verdasco in the semis on Saturday after he beat another Frenchman, Florent Serra.
