Volkswagen teams up with Brisbane International

Tennis Australia is excited to announce Volkswagen as the official motor vehicle partner of the Apia International Sydneyand Brisbane International presented by Suncorp.

This new three year partnership signals Volkswagen’s commitment to tennis in Australia.

In 2013 Volkswagen was a platinum partner of the Apia International Sydney and next year they will also sponsor the AAMI Kooyong Classic.

“Volkswagen is a premier global brand and a leader in its field. We are thrilled to have them make such a major commitment to our event and have the world’s best tennis players transported throughout the week in Volkswagen vehicles,” said Apia International Sydney Tournament Director Craig Watson.

“Their sponsorship will provide an enormous contribution to the sport in Australia and we are looking forward to strengthening our relationship with Volkswagen even further over the next three years,” he added.

Brisbane International Tournament Director Cameron Pearson was also thrilled to have such a prestigious brand join the growing list of Brisbane International sponsors.

“The Apia International Sydney and the Brisbane International are global tennis events and we feel there is great synergy to partner with Volkswagen, a prestigious global brand known for quality. “

Volkswagen Group Australia Managing Director John White is excited to have a close association with Tennis across three Australian states.
