Brisbane International debutants Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob Square Pants, Dora the Explorer and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are finishing up their pre-match routines as they prepare to team up with Brisbane kids against the tournament’s tennis stars during Monday’s popular Suncorp Sunwise Kids Day.
The Kids Day, which attracted over 2000 youngsters at the 2013 event, is set to once again highlight Monday’s tennis action, with Brisbane kids getting the opportunity to enjoy a plethora of activities including interacting with their tennis heroes and favourite Nickelodeon characters.
Some of the other activities on offer at Suncorp Kids Tennis Day include – autograph signing sessions, MLC Tennis Hot Shots (mini tennis) with the stars, face painting, rock climbing, jumping castle, fastest serve and roving entertainment. All attendees on this day will also receive a show bag to take home with loads of goodies.
Suncorp Kids Tennis Day is a FREE event for kids aged 16 and under (with a paying adult), and encourages kids to enjoy some tennis during these school holidays—using proper sun-safety precautions of course.
