Wednesday 1 January is Volkswagen Day at the Brisbane International and to celebrate our partnership, Volkswagen Australia is giving tennis fans the chance to win some fantastic prizes, including a new Volkswagen up!
Volkswagen Day is Wednesday 1 January 2014!
To celebrate Volkswagen Day at the Brisbane International, Volkswagen will be distributing sweatbands to attendees on the day.
Fans are encouraged to take a photo wearing their sweatband and post it to the Volkswagen Australia Facebook Wall. All fans who upload their photo will have the opportunity to win one of five $250 Wilson tennis packs.
Volkswagen Human Car Wash
Volkswagen Human Car Wash allows fans to cool themselves off and escape the heat of summer while at the Queensland Tennis Centre. This custom structure is a hit in Tennis Central and is also host to autograph signing sessions for some of the biggest stars of tennis throughout the Brisbane International.
Volkswagen Guessing Competition
Volkswagen is hosting a guessing competition next to the Volkswagen Human Car Wash. Fans are challenged to guess the number of tennis balls in the displayed Volkswagen Golf GTI for the chance to win a $500 Wilson tennis pack.
Volkswagen Baseline Challenge
Volkswagen is offering fans at the Brisbane International the chance to win a brand new Volkswagen up! by taking part in the Volkswagen Baseline Challenge. Three lucky fans from each session will be chosen randomly from the crowd and given the chance to serve on Pat Rafter Arena to qualify for the chance to win the car! Fans will be given three chances to serve into the boot of a replica Volkswagen up! positioned on the opposite baseline. Those who qualify will move into our final, which will be hosted prior to the first match on the final day of the tournament.
