UPDATE 5pm: Second seed Milos Raonic has been bundled out in his Brisbane debut, falling to talented Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.

The 48th-ranked Dimitrov had lost his only prior match with the towering Canadian but handled the humid conditions on a packed Showcourt 1 better to book his place in the last eight.

He will meet Austrian seventh seed Jurgen Melzer who took care of unseeded Belgian David Goffin in two sets, 6-4, 7-6(4).
