Sabine Lisicki has withdrawn from Brisbane International 2014.
The seventh seed has been struck down by a gastrointestinal illness and was forced to withdraw from her second-round match with Stefanie Voegele, which was due to be played on Wednesday.
Voegele now moves into the quarterfinals where she will face the winner out of tonight’s match between second seed Victoria Azarenka and Casey Dellacqua.
